Castor Oil Bean Project
Thuanyo Igrovest has established a castor seed oil development project with aim of empowering and partnering with various small scale and commercial farmers. The aim of this project is to form a value chain model approach turning farmers and unused land into oil producing farms then establish castor oil processing plants to products various oil based products and derivatives.
The company started with piloting in Gauteng Bronkhorstspruit, North West; Northern Cape; Limpopo and Eastern Cape. The company took initiative to establish the African Castor Oil Association.
Bio-diesel Production
Thuanyo Igrovest is partnership with Biofuels Business Incubation to train SMME’s and farmers with bio-diesel production own utilization to use in their own farms and machinery such as tractors. The company main founder underwent training in bio-diesel production and oil milling. Thuanyo Igrovest expanded the project to include castor seed oil farming for the production and processing into bio-diesel. The project is being implemented by Thuanyo Igrovest.
Livestock Production Project
Thuanyo Igrovest was involved in the implementation of the indigenous goat breed development project in partnership with Thembalethu Development Agency. The company was a strategic partner for project planning and implementation in the Limpopo province whereby CWP members benefitted from the project.
Quail Birds and Rabbit Farming Project
Thuanyo Igrovest took an initiative to develop a quail farming project in Pretoria city with the aim to do market research and testing. The project was successful which became a sustainable business supplying high class restaurants and hotels based Gauteng.
Cactus Pear Farming Project
The company ventured into prickly pear farming in partnership with NGO based in Pretoria to explore the viability of prickly pear community farming project. Thuanyo Igrovest as initiator and implementer performed all the ground work in terms of market research, farm identification and access to funding. The project was handed to beneficiaries in Pretoria.
Skills Development, Training and Mentorship
The company offers various accredited skills development and course programs for both class room and site learning programs in different sectors especially based in the agricultural primary, secondary and tertiary formations/entities.

- Development of community based hydroponic greenhouses
- Manufacturing; installation and implementation of vegetable hydroponic greenhouse project for beneficiaries based in the North West province.
